Stage three
What Happens in a Session
Ridden work first starts out with carrying on the principles from the groundwork
Sometimes I continue the groundwork with rider on board especially if starting youngsters or horses with ridden problems.
Ridden work can be done in halters or bridles, my aim is not to turn people into cowboys (unless you want to be!!) my aim is to establish happy, safe confident riding which then goes in combination with classical training to produce the horse for the job it is required to do.
The Hands on Horsemanship approach firstly teaches safety
secondly respect and control and finally with other techniques performance.
